Education Support

Program Summary. Many children are unable to pursue an education because no one has the ability to provide the tuition fees and school supplies. CSCM pays the tuition fees and other school-related expenses for children who otherwise would not be attending school.

Facts.

  • The most requested form of assistance by families fostering orphans is help with their education expenses.
  • 102 children have sponsors through CSCM.
  • Over 200 children have been identified and placed on a waiting list.

Hope for 2011. We ask every child enrolled in the program, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” When a child’s parents die, instead of imagining and pretending, they are confronted with the reality of survival. Many children we support thought that attending school was an unrealistic dream they would never attain. Our Education Support Program invests in the hopes and dreams of vulnerable children who would not have the opportunity to attend school without support. In 2011 we will continue to search for sponsors to reach out to the more than 200 children on our waiting list.

Get Involved. By becoming a child sponsor, your $35 monthly gifts ensure that we are able to uniquely respond to the individual needs of your child. You will receive a packet on your child including a picture and some information on his or her life. Request multiple packets and become an advocate for children at your congregation or group. Your gifts transform the lives of children in need.
